Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how American Balkan Chamber of Commerce Limited, which operates as American Balkan Chamber of Commerce ("ABCC", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information through americanbalkancc.org, our events, membership and programs.
What we collect
Information you give us

Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring site, collected by our hosting provider for security and operations.
- Cookies and similar technologies: only strictly necessary ones by default. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only as described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, precise geolocation, health or financial account details) through this website.

Cookies
We use a consent banner. Strictly necessary cookies are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies stay off until you allow them, and you can change your choice at any time with Your Privacy Choices. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
How we share it
- Service providers that work for us under contract: website hosting (Vercel), email delivery of form submissions (Resend), payment processing and, with your consent, analytics.
- Advertising partners such as Meta, only if you allow marketing cookies.
- Program partners, such as the Albanian American National Organization NY Chapter for the Internship Program, and prospective host companies, when you apply to that program.
- Other members, only the directory information you choose to publish.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- Organizational changes, such as a merger or transfer of our activities, subject to this policy.
Sale and sharing of personal information
We do not sell personal information for money. If you allow marketing cookies, advertising partners such as Meta may receive identifiers and browsing information from this site. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) and similar state laws, this may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information, or as "targeted advertising".
You can opt out at any time by selecting Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We also treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a valid opt-out for that browser. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
